This is an old scam, they mask the number to look like it's from NV Energy then they have you call a separate number that has an NV Energy recording. It's a pretty easy scam to set up and use and unfortunately they'll get just enough people to bite for it to make it worth their while. NV Energy DOES NOT call you with threatening to turn off your power. They have to send those notifications through the mail.

This call is a scam. Calls looking like it came from NV Energy, states that you are past due and that you are scheduled for disconnect in 30 mins. Instructs you to call another number. An 800 number not affiliated with NV Energy, but that has an answering system that sounds like it could be NV Energy, yet talks about reporting a gas leak. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE! IT IS A SCAM! NV Energy WILL NEVER call you and threaten to disconnect your service.
