Scam call reported by


A women with a heavy accent left me a VM. Spoke very low and had to listen to the message a few times. She said this message is time sensitive and to call her back at her office immediately before they presue legal action. My caller matched the other reviews perfectly.

Was in meeting with three other people - all had received multiple calls from this number - we all played the voice mail back and it matched word for word each time - "My name is Veronica - this message is intended for you the very second you receive this message. This is extremely time sensitive and the hotline to my division is 706 508 2644 706 508 2644. Do return the call before we do again to avoid action being taken against you. Thank You" Keeps calling back"

caller pretended to be IRS threatened if I didn't send money (Scam call) reported by


guy pretended to be IRS threatened me stating that I had to stay on the phone with him until I sent the money and I needed to go to Target or Best buy to send the funds. They originaly called from this number and then called back using IRS number however it wasn't the IRS...get a real job!!! The fraudster knew when I put him on mute where I was when I was out of my car etc. too bad these people don't work as hard on working as they do on their scams!! Unreal!! Reported to FTC, local authorities, and IRS.

Fraud IRS Call (Scam call) reported by


This number called stating that they are from the IRS Tax Crime Investigation fraudulent unit. Steven Casy Badge ID 21427234. Case file #. etc. etc. they said that they are about file the paper to the courthouse but wanted to give me a chance to rectify with the retribution department 2 senior officers. I can have options to 1) fight IRS in court, 2) settle out of the courthouse. I owe $2,788.35. Local Sheriff will serve me paper in 30 minutes after our call. Their address is in 3154 Perimeter Parkway Augusta, GA 30909. Got transferred to a higher officer, more talking. He commented that I should have call IRS every year to ensure that my tax filing was accurate. That's absurd. Also comment about 1) fight with IRS court; 2) out of courthouse settlement with a higher officer. At this point, I need time to think and hung up. They called back 10 minutes later multiple times and left me 2 voicemails. Scam/fraud attempt.
