Scam (Robocall) reported by Bob Barker
Scam caller confirmed after answering. Showed up as 7132077777, Reliant Energy. Stated they were from Center point and my power would be shut off in hours.... Ok... My electric bill is on autopay on a credit card with high credit limit and I don't use Reliant. Center point does do the lines here in HOU, but have never contacted me over the phone like that. I am 100% certain this was a scam attempt.

they pretended to be the light company and tried to get me to pay (Scam call) reported by C Newsome
The called and said they were Centerpoint Energy and that my lights would be shut off in two hours unless I paid the bill. This is not the number for Centerpoint, who is the electricity provider in Houston but not responsible for billing. Also, our bills are more than current and the electric bill isn't even under my name or connected to this number. Also, a recording saying we had to oay immediately or our power would be shut off in hours is fishy as hell.
