This call is from Comenity Bank. They are the account holders for several Dept stores such as Bealls, of which I do have an account. I didn't answer the first several calls, because I had only used my Bealls card once and had paid it right then and there at the store counter after I opened the credit card account in order to get a 25% discount on my purchase that day. I've never used it again since and never intended to use it again so even though I had gotten statements in the mail I didn't look at them as I assumed they were just courtesy statements to show my zero balance. In any case, I decided I'd answer the call from Comenity this morning to find out that some magazines had been charged to my Bealls credit card and of course, not knowing this, I was behind a few months on payment. They gave me the number of the magazine company and I was able to cancel as well as get a full credit on all the charges. So if you're getting calls from this number I suggest you take that call as it may be something you're not aware of, as in my case, and it could certainly hurt your credit score. Comenity Bank will also credit the late fees you've incurred if you call them back and let them know you cancelled and are expecting a credit for the full amount. Takes about 72 hours. I'm glad I took the call.

It's not real it's a scam that guy probably paid his bills so keep your nose and your opinion quiet about things you don't know. These people called me too.

@Jane...What gives you the right, to "Assume" that Charles doesn't work, or pay his Bills? If other People are getting calls, from this Number (which is from "Comenity Bank") are you going to "Assume" that those people don't work either? Like Hash says, "Keep your nose and your opinion quiet, about things you know nothing about"! And, yes, these people called me, too! I have never had a Credit Card, nor have I ever done Business with "Comenity Bank", so why they called me, or how they got my Phone number (which is both Unlisted and unpublished) I have no idea...Just a nuisance call, in my opinion! :o/
