I did not answer this call but they left a voicemail with this number. I did not find it on their site initially, but eventually it did link me to fraud services, also both PNC's Twitter and Facebook pages confirmed that the # is legit. I called it, only had to confirm my zip code and phone number in the automated system (they did not ask for any sensitive info), to which they provided me with a few recent transactions that they thought may be fraudulent. Luckily in my case they were not. But the call and phone number are legitimate and safe to answer or call back.

I had two missed calls from this number (I never answer unknown numbers). I looked online to find out who called me, I google it and and I found this page. Since I saw it could be my PNC bank calling for my account I logged in into my PNC app and I called customer service from it with their number. I asked if they recognized the number 1 800-225-5671, indeed they did. Customer service representative looked into my account and found out that Fraud department tried to reach me to asked me about three differents transactions made on November 30th. Someone tried to purchase things for $100, $300 and $600. Glad that they were on top and declined the transactions even tho they couldn't reach me by phone.

Called PNC directly. Was told there was no suspicious activity on my account (no declined transactions; no fraudulent transactions). We keep a detailed ledger, so we know nothing was missing. Provided the number to the customer service rep and was told it would be reported.

This number called me while I was at work. Did not answer call and looked up number shortly after. Could not find a PNC location or service department attached to this number. Looked on the PNC official website got their financial and fraudulent accounts number and called them check to see if there’s any possible activity on my account after the message it said there was. So I would be using extreme caution with this number and not answer it or call it back I would call the number located on the PNC website .
