It's OG&E electric co. There are people out there spoofing this # & using it to call other people. I don't know if it's possible even to stop a process like this.

O.G.&E. ( Oklahoma Gas and Electric ) ... calling to remind you that there is a past due amount on your bill. For all the silly people who marked this as FTC DNC, that only applies to telemarketers. You can not stop a company from calling you if you directly owe them money.

I received a phone call this morning telling me that my electric was being turned off immediately for non payment. It was an automated call which then sent me to a man, with a very heavy accent, who wanted my information. I hung up and when I looked at the caller ID it said "OJANDE" 800-272-9741. My account is not past due...funny that there were no Hindi speaking people in the real OG&E office

This is NOT!! OG&E!! customer service! This is NOT!! OG&E!! customer service! It is NOT!! any bill payment call associated with OG&E. OG&E MAILS!! Cutoff Notices!! period.!! OG&E NEVER!! makes phone calla demanding money. This caller is even trying to COMPEL persons to purchase a Green Dot to send money. No legitimate company will ever do this!!! Caller ID 'Ojande'is a very poor attempt at a phonetic spelling of OG&E, therefore probably from overseas. Therefore you will never see restitution if you pay these people!!
