Fraud Protection NOT from my credit union (Scam call) reported by


I was contacted by this number yesterday. They claimed they were calling from fraud protection from my local credit union. I refused to give them my account information and asked for a number to call them back. They gave me the number of my actual credit union, so I called them. They proceeded to tell me that they did NOT make any calls to me and there is so reason for anyone to call me about fraud on my card right now. Do NOT give these people your information! Just call your local bank and deal with them.

Fraud Protection Service from a local credit union calling about transactions on a credit card. Only problem is that I'm not the person they're looking for. I called them back to let them know they have the wrong number. Hope they find her before her credit card gets maxxed out.

Hangup call at my workplace. I did search and found this number on several bank websites, so I think it *could* be fraud protection services. So either the number was spoofed when calling me, or fraud protection did not expect a business to answer and hung up.
