Called and asked me to verify my last name since they asked for me by my old one. I asked what call was in regards to. She said "personal business" but is going to need to verify my name. I laughed at the vagueness and hung up. I have student loans that I am paying monthly on time and have been for 15 years.

There calling me bout a student loan that I don’t owe (Debt collector) reported by


I had a student loan like in 1999 and every year that I’ve done my taxes IRS Would deduct my student loan payment out from my taxes and on 2010 the myfedloans called me and told me I don’t owe anything now this credit adjustments calls me telling me I owe money when I don’t they’re trying to garnish money and sending paperwork to my employer what do I do IRS never sent me paperwork of what they been deducting out of my taxes

They never do, I had money taken for years over and above the total amount of a small loan for 2 years. I think when I left school I owed 7500. They garnished wages and took taxes, and then 15 years later they tell me I owe 11,900. I told them t IRS hasn't taken money from me in years so ....

it says it may be a student loan debt collecter here but the only thing i have from them are multiple messages of someone breathing into the microphone and it sounded like there may have been some pornography in the background. creepy and uncomfortable. i blocked the number.
