Who called you from 8003579572 ?

Yes this is Iyogi and they are a scam out of India. I too used them once about 5 years ago to fix my computer issues remotely. I imply paid once but after they fixed my computer I noticed that they had installed some type of Iyogi program to slow my computer down every 6-7 weeks. I would then get a call from them asking if my computer was running good, I would say no, it's running slow the past day or so. Then they wanted to remotely access my computer only to have me pay them for speeding it up. I completely quit using this particular computer for about 6 months but still I'd get some random call from them even when not using that computer. They really want to get access to your computer for nefarious reasons. Earlier this year they were calling me from a local 612 area code near my house, saying that they were going out of business due to some lawsuit and that I was due a refund for a yearly subscription I paid for back in 2017. I never paid them after the march 2014 BS above but they insisted I paid $420 dollars and in order to get my refund$ due to me I would need to login from my computer to there special site, again this is them trying to get access to your computer. I started messing with guy because I knew it was BS and they were even stupid enough to say I would be getting that refund back on my credit card, so they were just after my card # and whatever other personal info from my computer I suppose. I called the local 612# back a few times over the next few days each time giving them a different name and every time some * dude told me a different amount I had paid at some point, it was wildly humorous on my end. I did call the MN state attorney office and report it but I just got a call from the 800# above but no message left.
