A man with a middle eastern accent contacted my office stating that the electricity would be shut off in 40 minutes if I did not submit an electronic payment immediately. I put my husband on the line with him and contacted Entergy directly to confirm account status and was active and current. My husband told him that he was a scammer and that he wasn't going to do anything except go to jail when he gets caught. So sad that these people are attempting to take advantage of people during this time of crisis.

This number has called our office a few times. Stating that they are going to shut our power off in the next 30 minutes. When you call the contact number that the automated call gives you, a Denise Carter answers the phone and asked me if I was the account holder. When I told her that it's a business, she hung up on me. I called back. She answered the phone again (odd to get the same person to answer the phone a second time, right?!) I told her that we must have gotten disconnected. She said that since we are a business, there won't be any disconnection and to just disregard the call. SCAM.... SCAM.... SCAM..... she hung up on my co-worker 3x on Monday when we got tired of answering the automated calls. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! DON'T GIVE HER ANY INFO.

Recording said Reliant would shut off power due to nonpaymant within 30 minutes. Call came to secondary line of my office. None of my properties even have Reliant. I called back and was on hold with a call center.
