This number is a scammer that is trying to get access to your MyVerizon account by pretending your account is suspended with a pretty convincing robo-call. Upon gaining access, they change your account password, locking you out. They then proceed with changing the address associated with your account, so that you cannot get back into your account via the MyVerizon lost password feature. You must then dial *611 on your mobile device to speak to a Verizon customer service agent to get all of the damage they did sorted out.

Saying Verizon suspended, sent text to change VZW password! (Scam call) reported by


They told me my Verizon Wireless account was suspended, transferred me to a woman who sent me a text with a “temporary password” and to change my Verizon wireless login to that password. I said I wasn’t doing it because that’s not why they called and they immediately hung up on me. I called back and confirmed it was spam.
