It is Canadian Tire since I previously register their phone number in my contact, but lately they call me and hang up 2 sec after I answer... It probably an automatic service that leave a message if you don't answer, but programmed to hang up if you answer the call... This should be illegal to call people with a bot that hang up without any hint to identify themself if you answer... // FR : C'est la banque de Canadian Tire, mais ça raccroche deux secondes après avoir répondu... Probablement un service automatisé et programmé pour laisser un message sur le répondeur et raccrocher si on répond... Ça devrait être illégale d'appeler les gens sans qu'un humain soit à l'appareil.

fraudulant charge of 0.37 must call if not me (Financial services) reported by TJ Grit
they asked if i made the charge y or n i hit n they said need to call this number immediately as my acct is now blocked.. I replied to keep it blocked as I dont use that card. they apparently did not understand that reply. so I looked up if it is scam.. glad I did so I saved myself some time and possible problems.

I receive a call from this number multiple times. I called Canadian tire bank who I have a MasterCard with and spoke to agent who said they didn’t call me and couldn’t find anything in their system as to why they would be calling me. I am never ever late on any payments and I’m fast and always offer me an increase via email. The agent actually said I have a great account with them etc. The agent said it could be a marketing department but can’t confirm. They NEVER leave a message. I’m sorry I’m this day do not call and leave no indication of who you are. I blocked the number, they can leave me a message if it’s important.

This is Canadian Tire's MC number, but... (Call centre) reported by Don
Although this is legitimately Canadian Tire's Mastercard call centre number and is the number on the back of the card if you have one, there is currently a group **** their caller ID and trying to get your credit card info from you by pretending to be from the "fraud department". If it is actually Canadian Tire Mastercard calling, they will NEVER ask you for your credit card number. Worst part is, these jerks phone me 2-3 times a day, every single day - you would think after calling someone 30 times and they haven't fell for it yet that they would just give up, but they don't. Best advice, if someone calls you from this number saying they are from the fraud department, hang up, check your online account and call the number on the back of the card if there really is an issue. No matter what, don't ever anyone who calls any of your card details.

I answered within 2 rings. The very second I answered, I hear the clicking sound of the line being cut. They just hung up the very second I answered. It seems strange to me. Are they harvesting working phone numbers for future scams?
