This number keeps calling saying they are with health and human services. As I am very familiar with the federal government I know this is a phishing scam. They have my name, number, and home address all available online but if they don't know my profession they can not be legitimate. The person (with a middle eastern accent) says that due to an administrative error they need my SSN and employer.

Number belongs to Blue Cross and they are researching who is doing this. Call the 800 number back and make sure they have your number, date and time of call so the xrefs can be collected.
