The "number 1 clue", in the caller ID readout of (1ST ENERGY CO); This is a scam call that is going around using the spoofing of the real (800) 545-7741 First Energy Corp # in their scam. If Anyone see's " 1ST ENERGY CO " on the Caller ID, Do NOT pick up, it's a Scam Call. Just ignore it; If The Real - First Energy Corp, had an issue, They would send a letter, Or a Service Truck to Test Meter. Plus real First Energy Corp would NEVER talk or threaten cutoff over phone (as they tried to do using the name of the former owner of our unlisted #); They would send Proper Uniformed with Co. ID & Co. Truck to knock on door before shutting off electric, and ONLY after several letter's of intent of same being unanswered.
