They call several times a day, claiming to be from dell. They somehow know my service tag and claim someone hacked my computer. normally they do not give a location of the hackers but in the newfound Russia stuff in America.. they have now been asking if I know two names. and said the signal is originating from Moscow.. saying they need access to my computer to run a check.. when you decline they get very insistent and if you say you are not home they will call back every few hours between 8AM -10PM still trying to get access to the computer. On this last call, I lied to em and said I no longer have access to the computer, and then they asked what brand is it I said it was not a Dell so that was not their concern .. he then asked if I have a different wifi signal for it, I Said that is not his concern since it is not a Dell system.. after a few more attempts and denies I said you are not getting access to my system, said good day and hung up. It has been a few hours and so far they have not called back.

This is a scam. They call me several times a day and won’t leave VM. Then I would get calls from different numbers, varying area codes (mostly from the cities I’ve lived) afterwards saying my Dell warranty is about to expire in 24 hrs. But they’ve called me constantly for the last 2 months. I assume that 24 hrs is way passed. And guess what, my warranty is really expired as I don’t have a Dell laptop anymore.

They called me 5 times today saying my social security number is exposed. Blocked them and called back again before I asked the never to call back and hung up.

THIS IS NOT DELL CUSTOMER SUPPORT. this is a scam spoofing the Dell customer service 800 number. do not give them any information or they will hack your computer. this is a highly dangerous scam.
