Duke would never call!!!! Nor your credit card or IRS they would simple send you a letter!!! DONtT Give ANY information and don’t send any payment.

calling about utility cut off because of overdue bill (Scam call) reported by Business Owner
called randomly less than an hour after receiving another call from a different number claiming to be duke energy and warning of a disconnect. Then these guys called claiming to be from "utility company" concerning an overdue bill and power disconnect. I hung up on both. Both were calls concerning business accounts that are paid via autopay monthly directly from the bank....so I know they were BS.

This scammers are using an app that helps them to use any number they wish, don’t answer don’t believe anything they said, hung up!!!!! It’s a Scam Duke would never call you, they would send you a letter.

Duke Energy, only it wasn't
canned voice telling me that this was Duke Energy calling to inform me that my electric service was going to be cut off in 30 minutes. Press some number to speak to someone. I hung up and called Duke. My account has a credit on it to be applied to next month. This is a SCAM.

It was a call from an energy company that I had never heard of. Saying that they could save me money on my electric bill. The telephone number is legit from Duke Energy.
