Robot posing as Duke Energy robocall (Robocall) reported by


Robot said they were from the Duke Energy Disconnect Department. Stated they were going to disconnect service within thirty minutes if we do not remit payment.

I got a voicemail from that number saying the same exact thing but in order to avoid disconnection I needed to call 877-598-13xx immediately. When I called, they said they couldn't take payment over the phone that I would need to go to office depot and make a transfer. I luckily gave them no information and was happy when I checked with Duke and had a ZERO balance.

Answered the call and it was a automated message claiming to be Duke energy about my delinquent bill and service disconnection. I am a Little River customer and have no service with Duke. Also have owned this number for years.
