Caller ID said VLY THRIFT STOR 800-822-8383. Number had been blocked before. I returned the call and it answered that I had reached "Nationwide Recovery". Sounds like a SCAM.

"Valley Thrift Store" Caller ID (Call centre) reported by


Uses "Valley Thrift Store" as their caller identification; did not leave a message. I only answer numbers I recognize, so I have no idea what would happen if I answered. I did have a payment plan set up with Nationwide Recovery Service for debt to Kaiser Permanente, prior to COVID-19, so it's probably them. Although, they never used deceptive caller ID or failed to leave a message before.

Claimed they was from Nationwide Recovery. I have no outstanding debts with this company, so therefore I don't know why they have my number and calling me. I told them they have the wrong person and number then hung up. Lady kept asking was I the person she was calling. I kept asking her to identify who was calling, that way I know who to put on my do not call list if they keep calling. Sounded like she was perturbed when I wouldn't identify who I was, but kept asking her to identify who she was and what company was calling.

They knew my name, do you think I should be worried? I answered and it said to press one if I'm, and it said my name. So I pressed one, and was on hold listening to music to wait for someone to answer and it just hung up. Are they trying to steal info off my phone? I might be over worries idk..

The man said his name and kept repeating my full name. He listed out my address and kept asking for “verification” that it was me. That freaked me out so i hung up. He was not professional at all. sounded like a creep
