This company has called the previous year and after checking my block list, I've previously blocked them from a different number, that also used an 844 area code. I have no debt other than school loans which they cannot demand until I complete my schooling. Looking up the number has led to Monarch Recovery which, while apparently a legitimate and acknowledged company, it uses repeated calls to try to collect debt whether or not they have the right recipient. Be wary of their calls and take precautions. Know what your financial situation is and do not give them your information.

They call me just about everyday.. They ask for a different name every time i answer (i've answered 3 times, they've asked for 3 different names). Cant imagine theres that many people giving them my number. Scam for sure.

I answered the call and she immediately asked for my name. I asked her what the call is about, but she told me she can’t disclose it to me because she doesn’t know my identity. Once she told me that, I hang up the phone right away.

Monarch Recovery - they call every single day, 1, 2 & 3 times a day except Sunday. They use extreme scare tactics and don't ever let up. They become increasingly more harassing with each call. I've asked them to stop, as I am working with an atty to get everything paid off, but they still continue to call and harass, EVEN AFTER MY ATTY SENT THEM NOTICE TO STOP CALLING ME!

If you answer, say to them in a very distraught tone "They died two weeks ago! They still haven't found the rest of the body! Is this some type of sick joke!!??" LMFAO! They won't call back as often or even at all! OR You can tell them "We've already paid your ransom! Please don't hurt my baby!!" HAHAHAHA!

"Just finished reviewing some blogs about harassing calls from this number. Seems fairly clear this is a debt collection agency using extreme harassment and unlawful threats of lawsuit, repossession, notifying employers and relatives, etc.. One post identified the company as "Monarch Recovery" without details of how the caller was identified. Should have better verification before attaching a firm name to this call type." - Mike's bbq
