Had a dispute some time back with Centurylink. After 12 or 13 years with them my Internet went bad (suspect water damage on neighborhood lines). CL could no longer provide the Service they Warrented for life at the price for life. Told me I had too many devices online and network was dropping 2 or 3 times a day. Wanted to sell me a plan for 40 percent more, so I dropped the service and went with Xfinity - Soo... much better! Prorated my bill and dropped the bogus late fees acquired after CL change it billing service and did not collect for two months. Dropped Debit card and paid off final bill via Check. So they may now be trying to collect the rest. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED - WE ARE DONE, THIS NUMBER IS BLOCKED AND MY NETWORK IS NOW BUNDLED WITH CELL SERVICE AND ABOUT 30 OR 40 DOLLARS A MONTH LOWER.

soft female voice ask if it was me by name; i respond: who is it?. she hangs up. Are they phishing for some information to see if someone answers? I was called many times and this time I decided to see whats up. Tip: Don't answer unidentified calls. There's always a trap.

This is the 2nd day in a row They have called. After maybe 7 to 10 seconds of silence, I heard a very weak voice say my first name. I replied that I was, in fact apparently who they had called. I got no response and the line went dead. I tried calling back and heard "Centurylink. Please hold for the next available representative" after a few seconds, the line went dead. I am a former Centurylink customer that did have a billing dispute with them, but that has been resolved There is no reason for them to be harassing me.

I called back and the rep asked for my name first thing. She was hesitant to help without me giving my name so I asked for sup and I informed I had never been a customer and requested to have my # removed and was told it would be. We will see.....
