I received a call from 844-212-0179 from someone claiming to be from Century Link. They had the last four digits of my social and wanted me to confirm the full thing. When I told them I didn't feel comfortable doing that and mentioned that I didn't even have a Century Link account, they hung up. An obvious scammer!

Keep getting letters from century link daunting I owed money I disconnected service months ago. Century link charged me for my last month. Then told me they would they would refund for the month which they did. This is a scam company representing century link I get this letter every month and normally after they have sent it to collections

They called said they were centurylink transferred me 5 times each person said they were going to help me and couldn't they kept telling me that I owed a huge amount of money and each time I was transferred I had to re describe that I had cancelled my service and they kept telling me they were going to help finally I started getting up said and then they hung up on me

It's legit CenturyLink. I had closed my account and they were supposed to send me the final bill but they didn't and now called to collect payment. I received my confirmation email through CenturyLink and logged into my account to confirm the payment was made. Not a scam but is the collection dept of CenturyLink.

Recording says Century Link, I let it ring through. Scammer answered told me my account was late and going to collections after only hearing my name and not asking for other info like my actual phone number address etc. I reported to Cent Link 6/8/20.

I've been getting voice messages from this number every day. "hello this is ______ from century link with a courtesy call please call us back at 844-212-0179" I finally did call back just to see and they said I have an unpaid balance overdue on my account. 1. I checked my online portal and certainly did not. 2. When I call century link they have my account information tied to my phone number. This scammer couldnt provide any information for me and so I provided no information to them. Do not provide this number any of your information!
