Callers attempted to say they were from CenturyLink, I had been on my phone when they called and the call when I picked up hung up. I naturally called back, Callers claimed to be from CenturyLink, they obviously were not as they could not even look up or see when my bill was due or anything. I immediately terminated the call when I told them I'd called in last month to terminate services before the bill was due. Also Service with CenturyLink in my area or at least for the building I live at is horrible. They promise at least 50% of your given bandwidth in service which for 12meg service even if you are getting that in a speed test your physical download should be at least 6 megs I was only getting 1.5meg at the maximum. Do not call these people back and do not give them any information further than necessary.

Caller claimed to be with Century Link, Shaleen. She said she was calling regarding my disconnected line. I don't have a disconnected line. She needed my verification of address before she could tell me about the line. Sounded suspicious so I called Century Link directly. Century Link said my account was fine.
