Called about a debt sent to them from a previous internet provider. The person on the phone was nice enough, has clearly read the script enough time and are legit from a company called Afni. Is it a good company, no, will it clear debt? yeah. They had my information already so I didn't have to provide anything and it was overall an easy phone call.

Recording came up said they are testing line quality and said is the call quality ok? Don't say yes it is a scam they will use that against you. Voice sounded human but was robotic.

I kept missing the call. I finally called back to see what it was. They said it was a collection agency. The man was very nasty. He asked me "how do you eat? How do you pay your phone bill?" And said "if you can do that then you can pay this." What does me taking care of myself have to do with me paying an old cable bill? Last time I checked I need food to live but I don't need to pay an old cable bill to live. Very disgusting person.

Looks like customer relations company used by debt collectors. Another way for debt collectors to bug you without identifying them selves. I won't work with anyone that's afraid to legally identifying their selves and the company they work for. Then I Google the company and call back on the listed number and ask for that person
