The woman stated she was with AFNI, a company I do not recognize. She tried to get me to verify my address and last 4 of my social. I refused, as I do not recognize this company name and do not have any accounts in collections. She would not provide further details as to why she was calling.

The call started silent finally clicked over to a woman Proceeded to be nasty saying she was from the court house trying to serve papers to a person. Am I them or is their another number I can reach them at. NOPE! That was a lie. Never verify you are someone until you are positive and have all the facts.

They're legit. They want to confirm information to which I could answer yes or no, in relation to Canadian regulations. They did not try to have personal information. They named themself desjardins compliance. They are the ones who finance my Leon's financing, for example.

It was a missed call I called back the phone didn't even ring but a lady was on the other line. I didn't hear what the company was when she spoke so I immediately hung up because I was like how doesn't the phone ring but it's a lady on the line. Made me very suspicious so I blocked their you know what!!!
