Received a call today and last week asking for my husband saying they had some important information about his insurance plan. My husband is not the holder of the insurance policy and this is not his number. After checking the number, it appears that they try and get personal information that can be used illicitly. I would not answer this call because they had previously left a message and it came up as a telemarketing call.

I think this is a scam

I just typed in this phone number to see if there were complaints after I used a different number to reach the Anthem pharmacy technician and found there were no problems. The call did indeed sound legit and it definitely wasn't. Thankfully, I never got through--I kept getting kicked off the call hold--so I didn't give them any info, but please know this seems to be a scam/phishing attempt.

I thought it was my health insurance company they had some information and I only gave them a little bit of my information. But now that I think of it they could of use some of the information they got from me to get more information and sound legit. Now worried it's a stam

Initial call said it was from Anthem, thought it was about my pres. Gave them my dob and address, no social, then googled the number when I felt something was wrong. Am busy locking everything down, stupidity on my part
