Looking for Strangers for "formal complaints" (Robocall) reported by


I've been getting these for a few months about someone who might have been my old roommate (it's hard to tell with the static-filled message) that I haven't been in contact with for over a decade. Now they're calling with the same canned message about someone I've definitely never heard of. Blocked one number, but they still leave voicemails. Today they used 0787 instead of 0788.

Called saying they have a "complaint" about me and I needed call them to avoid further acorn. Pre-recorded with a deep voice and some heavy breathing before they started the conversation. Claimed they were looking for me. Given all that is written here, now happy I have blocked the caller.

They called and ask me if this is soso Who's calling, he asked me 3 more times, I said this is shewhat does this concern? He says this is the law you have an insufficient check Written to CardinalProperties. I responded with no I don't. He says he's putting a warrant out for my arrest, at that time I hung up! He really try to push my buttons, mean, and obscene language. I knew this is fake.

Oh man they DO NOT like being called scammers! They were calling my phone SEVERAL times a day looking for "so and so". At first I said I didn't know the person. And was "removed" from their call list. A month later I start getting the calls again. So I decided to play along. I said I did know the person. I said I felt if they were calling ME I should have the right to know what the financial obligation was that "so and so" owed. Of course this was too personal for them to release. Suuuuuure. Anyway I was hung up on, called an ****, and again told multiple times I would be removed from their list. It was a good way to kill some time. I called them about 7 times all together LOL!

A representative called from this number saying that "Coastal" was a remediation company that contacts on behalf of companies who are in the process of taking legal action. They first call and pretend as if it is a pre-recorded/automated message being shared. I heard breathing when the "recorded" message was over and when I said "hello" they paused and hung up the phone. Within that rehearsed message he claimed that they were looking for my "whereabouts", which is the same language that was used from another telephone number that made the claim that I owed a payday loan. I have never in my life taken out a payday loan, so I know this is a scam. They left their number in the message and I called back immediately. During that call, they were unwilling to state their address and denied having a website as well. They were hostile and hung up on me when I asked simple questions that any reputable company would be happy to answer.

Sounds like the call I have gotten two days in a row. I didn't answer either time and they left voice mail that intermittently broke up. But the gist sure sounded like trying to locate a 3rd party who is the object of a criminal investigation.

I called back bec a person left msg looking for a person that had filed some sort of claim, but the name was unclear. When I called back I learned it was CFS, in South Africa, looking for a female I never heard of. I think they are financial scammers.

A formal complaint against said the automated voice from coastal. I called back to have some fun. Some lady answered and said I owed 570 dollars to L capitol corporation because I'm attempting to defraud them and they are going to take me to court. She could not provide me the acct that this company supposedly deposited into but gave me a an email address that i supposedly used to apply for the loan and the address where I supposedly wrote on the app. All wrong of course because I never have applied for any loan in that Amt. then she asked me if u would verify the last 4 of my ss of my answer was do he think I'm crazy. Then she said 4 numbers and they were mine but I told her they were not.....and that her co had the wrong person....freaky man just freaky. I'm not worried it is a scam and I know it. I'm just sad for the people who believe it and get. Suckered
