A man mumbled something quickly and very quiet. English is my second language and it was hard to understand him. He asked if l had time to answer some questions about my application at the healthcare.gov and he asked me to tell him my birthday and other details. l told him that my application was already approved and l've started using it. He answered something unclear and repeated the same that he already told me before. I just was waiting for the call about the CHIP insurance for kids and asked him if he wanted to talk about it. He said that he wanted to discuss the details of my application for the whole family which was incorrect, l didn't apply for kids at marketplace. Then l told him to email me if there are any questions to me because my English is not very good and l didn't understand why he was calling. He said that they don't have my email address. That was another red flag for me. So l just told him to check for it because it's in my application and account and wished him a good day. I didn't tell him anything and l'm sure that if there are any questions, my insurance can call and leave a message or email me.

Health Care .gov. wanted to let me know that I needed a different form to approve my health care application. Answer this call it's not a scam. Only ask for address and birthdates. All info needed is to be put through the .gov site.

This number is truly for the Healthcare marketplace or better the ACA or even Obamacare. If you are receiving a call from this number then 1 you have applied for a tax credit through the marketplace on healthcare.gov 2 an agent has done so on your behalf. I would encourage you to call the number back and find out why they called before you loose your tax credits and half to pay full price for your insurance. There are actually two numbers the 1-844-477-7500 is a direct line to the dept that makes the calls and then 1-800-318-2596 is to another company that creates the applications when you call in. Save yourselves some time and money and take the call or at least call back.
