Called stating they were collecting a debt, number called from is not an EOS listed number. I check my credit report regularly and the only debts are my known Credit Cards which are in good standing.

EOS Canada is a debt collector but this caller said I owed Bell Canada money. I don't. Don't have a Bell account. Called Bell to complain and they say it is a scam so ignore it.

They claim to be a debt collector & that I owed a company that I (Scam call) reported by


This number called & said that I owed a company that I dealt with over 4 years ago money. First off the company they quoted (Air Gas) gets their funding through the government if a recipient fails a blood gas test. The company is then usually contacted by a hospital or medical professional to set this up when the patient is being released. You then need to do a follow up blood gas test when it is time for the funding to be renewed. If oxygen is no longer needed then the equipment is returned to Air Gas. So even if it were possible that I owed them money I am sure that I would have received a bill or at least a phone call during that time as Air Gas had both my address & phone number. Companies do not just send bills to a collection agency without at least trying to recoup the money owed to them first as a Collection Agency always charges a percentage of the money owed to the company hiring them. I do not believe that I owe anything to Air Gas & even if I did I am sure they would have contacted me long before this & that they would not hire a collection agency for $165.00 Also when I demanded to know exactly what the owing amount was for the nasty twit I talked to could not tell me. Beware & do not fall for their crap!!! Donna

This company has been contacting me for about a year now Every time they call I tell them I am not the person they are looking for and to stop calling. This does not seem to work so I have now filed a complaint with The Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services

This number dials my cel-phone, I am told by a recording that I am on hold, and to wait until a "consultant" comes on the line. What kind of backwards thinking is this? I don't know who they are, they don't say, and I hang up when I hear the message...The last few times I chose to ignore the call.
