Block that Sirius XM number, or they'll never stop. And if they somehow get you to talk to them, they'll sell you some subscription you never wanted, then you'll NEVER get hold of them to cancel it!

NEVER leaves a message. Constant calling. When answering live, I receive **** heavy breathing & nothing more. Sometimes someone aggressively pushing for personal information without ever identifying who they are, business or reason for the call when asked. Scammers keep coming up on searches

got a trial with my new car. never used it, but they called dozens and dozens of times over those 3 months. Even after I blocked the number and asked to be put on a no-call list, they kept calling.

For those of you who mention "silent call", this is what is called in the industry as "predictive dialing", it should be banned and made illegal !!! Basically whilst an agent is on the phone, the predictive dialing is supposed to determine more or less when a call is nearing its end and do a pre-dialing, so that when the agent is done with a call, they get a brand new call right away - obviously this process is flawed, because most of the time the predictive will have dialed a number and a person answered before an agent is even available to take a call, hence that "silence". The silence can also mean a robotic call that is waiting for someone to speak, then 1 of 2 things can happen, either you will get a recording played back, OR hung up on, and a record that someone answered the phone, so you can later get a follow-up by a live telemarketer. Do you wonder why you are getting called despite being on a do not call list ? WELL most of these telemarketers are calling outside the US / Canada, outside any jurisdiction, so they are not bound by these regulations and do not care about any do not call lists. There are honest people doing surveys over the phone, be nice to them - their jobs are hard because of all those telemarketing SCAMS out there. as far as that 1-844 number that called me, I answered with HELLO and as soon as the lady started talking I hung up, so far they never called back, do not argue with them, it will make them try to convince you, if you just hang up right away they will understand that you are not a valuable number and eventually not call you, at least for some time - if you start asking questions, they will still consider you a potential lead and argument with you, if you then say you are not interested, YOU WILL eventually be called by another person, they usually refer those type of calls to senior TMs above t hem, who will try to argument you and convert a refusal in hopes of closing a sale, BEWARE.

calling every 30 minutes as if scheduled to do so...if I answer there is no one on the line, just silence. It is annoying, and should be illegal to dial people over and over and over....yikes.
