Called asking for employment verification of a former employee. I told them I wasn't going to give them any information over the phone, they asked for my name and position and I didn't give it to them. He gave some accurate information about our company and when the former employee left, so I gave them an email address where they could send info...not sure what will happen from here? Sounded like a call center, thick Indian accent.

call came into the Union county Sheriff office in South Dakota. Both callers, one male and the other female were asking for info about New York? I really didnt think the calls were legit. but told them they would have to try to call New York.

They are not legit. Numerous complaints about them claiming to want to verify a previous employee who never worked there then starts asking for information on the company. What are the chances that many employees are putting false past jobs? I am a one person S-Corp. who would pick my company to use as a fake background. These people are scammers trying to gather info

This number comes from Arlington Heights, IL. I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?
