They will tell you your firewall was turned off, scammed me because I accidentally did turn it off a few days ago but instantly turned it back on so I became scared. I let him access the system to do a virus scan. I became suspicious and googled the number and found it was a scam so I ended the scan.

computer scam (Scam call) reported by


Caller had a heavy South Asian accent, had trouble understanding him. I came to realize what he said was was that my computer firewall had been breached and he wanted to access it and fix the problem. When I said that I had my computer checked by a local service and there was nothing wrong with it and that I thought they were running a scam he hung up on me. The numbers are now on my block list.
