Scam "Internet Service" Payment Call (Robocall) reported by


"THIS ... IS A VERY IMPORTANT CALL FOR YOU!" Robocall says that "computer service will be renewed today, as per the contract with our company" and that "after the call ends, the amount of $399 will be automatically charged $399 from the last mode of payment used by you to pay our company". Funny, I don't have an internet service provider in my name, so needless to say it's a scam. Also, it doesn't say WHICH internet service provider it's representing. You know, like a LEGITIMATE call. It ends with the robot voice saying that if you want to cancel your subscription and get a refund, to call their accounts team. But again, it doesn't give a phone number or a company name. So they're hoping you call this number and give them your personal and banking info, apparently. Best to block or not answer.
