First, a foreign sounding gentleman asked to confirm my name and when I wouldn't, he stated it was regarding a physician from a hospital visit...no one in my home has been in the hospital for YEARS! Then he said "Well - you received a letter in the mail regarding this matter" and I just hung up and blocked the #. Scam.

They accidentally left a silent voicemail. All I could hear was tapping on a keyboard in the background. It's rude enough to call me & not identify yourself, even worse to leave a silent message!!!

A man with an Indian Accent calling regarding a recent stay at the hospital. He asked me if I was me and wanted to verify it with my birthdate. I told him he would have to give me more info before I would give him any. He kept repeating that he needed to verify some information before he could give me any information. I told him I would just call the hospital. The hospital didn't have any idea what I talking about but said they would check it out for me. I gave them the number.

They did not introduce themselves - just said there was a problem with my insurance and they needed my birthdate - they knew the insurance company I use, but did not want to give their name. I said no and hung up

Said there was a problem with my Cigna insurance and they were not paying a debt, I asked him for some information because, I recently had some doctors appointments like A)what was the date of service? they answered correctly, B)what was I seen for? They didnt have that information, then I figured if it was a legit collector they would at least know the last 4 of my social they said we can't give that out over the phone, I said if i say it can you confirm? (I wasn't going to give them my real number a couple of fake ones just to see if they could deny it) and they hung up and they call back at least 2 times a day almost every day
