The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides a Women Veterans hotline—1-855-VA-WOMEN (1-855-829-6636)—an incoming call center that receives and responds to questions from women Veterans, their families, and caregivers across the nation about available VA services and resources. Women Veterans under utilize VA care, largely due to a lack of knowledge about VA benefits and available services. In response, an outbound Call Center was established in 2010 to contact women Veterans and encourage them to try VA care. It has been expanded, and the Call Center’s telephone agents now receive incoming calls and inquiries about VA care and other services for women.

It's not spam. It's the VA trying to connect Women who served in the military with services and healthcare they might not know they're eligible for. They served and they get services... lots of then. It's nothing but positive and can help connect you with free healthcare, doctors , psychologists, pharmacy, housing, job placement, etc. It's nothing to fear or consider SPAM, and if they called you on accident, it was a mistake. They might have an old phone number for somebody. Look it up.... VA.gov , Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs... Phone number 1-855-VA-Women
