The gentleman called and identified himself by name but refused to identify the company he was calling for, stating that it was a "personal business matter". I asked no less than three times for him to identify the company without going into further specifics, which he refused to do. I told him if he could not properly identify himself, then there is no reason to continue the call. He reiterated that he could not give ANY information until I identified myself, so we disconnected. Shady business practice!

My Credit Inc. (Debt collector) reported by


My Credit Inc. was the name given when I called the number back. It came up on my phone as Spam Caller so I didn't answer but I did call the number back when no voicemail was left. I hung up after I heard My Credit Inc. It said it was on a recorded line. I will block the number from my phone.

I saw the number on the ID, and the name on the ID was "Toll Free Number". I answered. A female responded "This call recorded. May I speak with (name - not me)." I asked "Who is this?" and she said "This is Nationwide Credit, but I can't speak to you unless you are (again, name not me)". I said (truthfully) "There is no one by that name living here. Remove this number." ...and hung up.
