Said he was calling from "Google Adword Management Services"...company name supposedly "Adword management services"...no such thing at Google, BTW. Anyone that says they are a "partner" of Google...isn't Google. Told him my services for adwords were done by my web company and they should be involved...he said "no, Google wants to make sure that they are doing their job correctly...and we won't talk to them...just you..." Uh. huh. Just one of hundreds of companies scamming you.

Said he wanted to go over our campaign to streamline it but didn't know any of our info aside form our website, and kept saying was from Google AdWords, said partner once, so I replied, oh not from Google proper then, and he said no we are, we are Google. Voice sounded super robotic. Told him we'd call back if interested and hung up.

Caller claimed to be Google and wanted to set up an appointment to go over my adwords account. I set up a time and then they started to ask for my information. I told them if they were from Google they should already have all of my information as part of my Google account. He then said he was part of Google trying to set up a meeting with a Google partner. I told him I wasn't interested if this was someone that was not apart of Google and then he switched and said the Google partner was google. He didn't even have my email address or name which are both attached to the account. I hung up.
