I had a call from this number I did not answer it. later checked the voicemail in the voicemail said it was the pharmacist calling in regards to my insurance company and to give them a call back. I'm not calling them back to other comments that I've read below stating that they have received other calls and they are very fishy wanting to know what medication you're on ...if you're calling from an insurance company as a pharmacist you should know that info I believe. Probably a scam of some type

Got a call from this number & I let it go to voicemail. Person leaving a message said they were a "Pharmacist" calling from "The Insurance Company" & to call them back. Seems fishy they wouldn't name the company they work for, so I am thinking this is a telemarketer or some kind of scam.

I've gotten many of these from different sources. I now ignore and block all of them. Years ago, when I new to Aetna, I actually began this service, as I thought it was from Aetna directly. I was subsequently called by another person a few days later and asked a lot of very personal medical questions -- things I would have thought Aetna had known. The exchange was very uncomfortable, esp. when he asked me questions about my emotional state (which is OK, thank you very much). But I still stuck with the program. Then, every month for a few months, I got a call from a "nurse", who would ask me how I was doing with my meds, doctor visits, mental health, etc. But, each time it was only I who gave out information; I got no advice or medical help of any kind. Finally, I stopped answering the "nurse's" calls and blocked her number. At best, this is a semi-legitimate "service" that bills Aetna for the "care" that they give you without really doing anything at all for Aetna's patients. At worst, it may be a group of people who compile sensitive information and prey on the elderly. However, I never saw any adverse effects, just a very annoying waste of my time. Bottom line: ignore and block them.

My prescription Plan (Scam call) reported by


Caller said they were calling from Aetna Prescription Drug Plan and wanted to know what medication I was taking. They asked for me but I told them that "she" wasn't available and asked for the number to call back on. I then called Aetna and they said they don't have that number listed as one of theirs.
