This seems very much like an attempted scam. I didn't report it here as a scam because they want your email to do so (which also comes across to me as potentially phishing), but that's what it seems to be to me. When I picked up, first thing the computer AI on the other end asked (after claiming the call was for a debt collection) was for my zip code. THEY called ME, so why ask that? Everyone knows zip codes are used as part of an authentication process for use of credit cards, access to your bank, etc. I've never heard of any legitimate service calling and asking for such information. It would likewise make zero sense for me to give such information to anyone or anything unsolicited. I'm also up to date on my payments to HD, so I am beyond suspicious of this number. I can't 100% say that this # is illegitimate, but if it's not, they've got a disturbing way of conducting business. Once they asked for my zip code, I immediately hung up and did not continue the call. I would highly recommend ignoring this number if they call you.

Said it was citi bank / home depot collections trying to say I was behind on my payment. Wrong answer scammer. I have my bill I just received from home depot and it shows no past do. The people doing this needs to go to jail.

They have been calling me every day during my work hours. I do not answer, and they do not leave any messages. I am calling Home Depot right now, just to make sure is not them. I do have a Home Depot card, but I am up to date with my payments. This is definitely a scam call.

Claimed it was citibank regarding a home depot card and wanting me to press a number if the call wasn't for me. Well I pressed a button alright ... THE BLOCK BUTTON! Must be a scam, I don't even shop at the home depot.

it says it is Citi bank in regards to my Home Depot Credit card. I called Home Depot's customer service and I was told it must be a scam call as my account is up to date.
