877 area code=scam call. They called yesterday claiming to be social security. They started bright and early this morning with a different number. Get an honest job and leave others alone!!!

Illegal pharmacy (Scam call) reported by


Called my unlisted number, said he represented EverLast (?) Pharmacy and was selling a breakthrough medicine for erectile dysfunction. When I asked for his name, he said that was not important, that the only thing important was that I could be helped by this miraculous medicine. I asked him how he got my number and he said not to worry, that anybody can get anybody's number via the telephone company. I told him I wasn't interested and then he said, "Well, how about some THC-derived (marijuana) pain relievers, or maybe some Oxycodone for my joints? I asked him what kind of pharmacy would be selling that stuff over the phone? At that point, I think he got spooked, said something in a foreign language to someone in his office, and then hung up. Really strange call.

Debt collector reported by


Got a call from them. A man with an Indian accent answered and said he was a debt collector and I had a debt attached to my number. I told him I had no debt and he asked me if were ... and got my last name correct but a totally different first name. Told him I was not that person. We both hung up but now I am curious. Should I have questioned him further..?
