It is not a scam call. It is the promotions department for TD Canada Trust. They just wanted to let me know about some new exclusive promotions ie, no annual fee credit cards, travel rewards and many more.

Received the call and let it ring for a few times, before deciding to check it as I do have an account with TD Bank. When I picked up, the person and the other end hung up. I promptly called TD Canada Trust back using the 800 number on the back of my debit card oh, and after a review of my file it was determined that the number that had called me was a scam call and that a representative from TD Canada Trust never did call. If this call results and someone trying to sell you something through TD, do not buy it. The representative told me to not give this person any information, and that if I were to receive any more calls or know anyone to receive calls from this number, to hang up and have them call TD back using the number on the back of their card.

I doubt it's td. Why would they be calling me at 1930hrs (on a Friday). Also why are there so many different answers on this site and others re. who's #. If it was a td linked # everyone would identify it as such but this isn't the case.

After third time calling a creepy automated voice told me I have committed tax evasion and fraud which I have done nothing of the sort. Will be calling td bank near me to investigate. Need to hear someone living after that voice... thinking of it gives me chills.
