Called actual DirectTV number. Told me the other number is a scam (Scam call) reported by


I'm always cautious, especially with numbers. Told the woman on the phone I was not authorized to make changes on the account (I am) and she asked if she could call back later. Told her sure. Directly after hanging up I called the real DirectTV number and asked them if they had called me and explained the situation. They told me anytime someone from DirectTV calls an account they make notations on their end. They have not called me. They advised me to not answer in the future with this number calls.
