Answered the call. a few seconds of nothing. I heard the "hello" "hello". I asked if they were there. Another few seconds pause. I then whispered "what are you wearing", and whoever it was hung up. A little humor to my day. :)

This caller claimed to be calling from On-Star and offered a free month trial with no need to attach payment. However, they still needed to "verify my account". If you're calling me from On-Star, and you know my name, phone number, and the exact vehicle I drive, what's left to confirm? I'm not giving some random number my PIN. Seemed very fishy and I doubt this call actually came from anyone affiliated with On-Star.

call ID said "anonymous", number googled back to here. I answered, put on on speaker, and started clapping. after about 30 seconds I heard a female voice say "hello", but kept clapping. she waited another 30 seconds before hanging up. If it *is* legit OnStar, then why "anonymous"?

OnStar's free trials require a credit card and they make it very difficult to cancel. Odds are you will never use this service if you have a cell phone. OnStar uses the LTE network. Unless you like paying expensive fees per minute and duplicating free services from your phone on OnStar, I would pass. You are much better off with Apple Car Play or Android Auto than wasting money on OnStar. The only only good add on from these services is the unlimited data WiFi. It is cheaper than paying for unlimited data on a phone or phones, plus you can use non-LTE devices like a tablet or a laptop.

This is OnStar, if you answer this call they are probably trying to offer you a deal. The annoying part is they have called me at least 6 times in the last 3 weeks. Every time they call I send them to call screening (Android feature) and they just hang up. I would like to think they will get the message eventually, I am not interested. It is a good service however, I am not driving much these days and it is not worth the expense right now.

Third party company who has paired with Onstar. Apparently Onstar has no problem sharing personal information with third party companies!!! This is ****, very creepy to get unsolicited calls from a man who knows my name number and vehicle types, whom I do not know. I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY...why am I getting these types of calls????

I have multiple vehicles in fleet and this number calls whenever a new vehicle trial period expires for onstar. They do offer a better deal than online not sure if it is direct or third party. to be safe just push the blue button in your vehicle and ask for the deal that was offered to you on the phone. That way you know who you are actually talking to and they already have your info

Offered 3 free months of OnStar, I was skeptical, but gave my email and phone number, immediately checked the app afterwards and was on an upgraded plan. Not a scam and would recommend accepting the 3 month free service if offered, gives you added features on the app.

Ju st got a call from 877-520-3063, she said she was from OnStar and as a valued customer she wanted to offer me a free service such as Navigation or Crash Response. I told her although I did have OnStar on my vehicle for 3 months when I first purchased it, I never used it and won’t be ever. She insisted I take Crash Response for free protection over the holidays as piece of mind. She asked me for my OnStar PIN number but I told her I had never used it and didn’t remember. She said take a guess, it’s a 4 digit number. I gave her a random number I wouldn’t use and she said it was incorrect. I again told her I didn’t remember it. She the asked me for my SIN number. OnStar does not have my SIN number. I Said “ya right” and hung up at that point.
