I get these calls 2 to 3 times a week. They claim to be at&t fraud protection. They claim that someone tried to purchase an I phone using my account out of some other state. I play along knowing I don't have AT&T and say, wow really? Who's name is the account under and they hang up. Once I played along and gave them fake info and then said ohh by the way I don't have AT&T. Have some fun with them. LOL. They get p1$$3d off.

Call Cigna from AT&t they did not know my name said that they had three questions for me to get me at $25 credit towards my next bill. She mostly was asking questions about how my service was and whether I thought I needed more signal towers in my area. Then all the sudden the call ends abruptly. If this doesn't smell fishy I don't know what does :/.

She said she was with AT&T, I said I don't have AT&T & asked why she was calling, she said OK ma'am and bid me good day, then hung up. She wasn't rude, but I could hear background sounds like she was in a call center, and she spoke slow, broken English. But she was polite.

People like you are why their scam keeps working. Most toll free customer service numbers are inbound only and they never call out on them. If they call you it won't be from the toll free number. If you get a call from a toll free number it is probably spoofed and from a scammer. See the other comments above and below. Mark
