This number calls me again & again, claiming that they were Verizon and wants to "review" my account. The last time they called, I called Verizon Customer Service directly, & was advised that this number is not in their system. Today I got yet another call from # & again claiming to be from Verizon. Told caller I knew they were not Verizon, but a boutique phone reseller affiliated with Verizon. She admitted it was true. I told her that I don't do business w/telemarketers and hung up. Number is saved as "NotVerizon" in my contacts so that I know when they call me.

I called Verizon tech support and they confirmed that this number is the Verizon renewal team. I mentioned that they might want to have some sort of heads-up email or text message letting the users know. When I got the call, I didn't provide any information, but he had all the information about my account. He talked through my current plan and other options as well as upgrade options. It was a good call.

i don't remember the lady's name but she stated she was from Verizon Phone Co and wanted upgrade a couple of my phones for $100. I told her she would have to call back as I had someone knocking at my door. She was very hard to hear what she talking about she sounded like she was in a cellar.

Caller offered promotional options but didn't wait to hear them. Funny thing is, the quality of the call was extremely poor. High static, broken words, and very evident that call was something other than Verizon.
