Call me twice a day for around a month. first time i answered it was silent and when they called me later that day they claimed to be from the electric company Entergy, asking for personal information. dont answer

This number has called me at least three times a day for the past month. Silent when answered. Eventually blocked and they keep calling. No message.I think this is tied to Entergy. I am a customer of theirs and have had to establish service for quite a few locations with my phone number with them within the past year. Other users report agents of a possible scam claiming to work for Entergy asking for social security numbers.

lady called and she was from entergy and needed to talk about "a business matter" and needed the last four digits of my Social security number. I told her I had no business matters with entergy, and she said that she could not continue the conversation without my last four digits of SSN- sounded like a scam to me

Scam call claiming to be from entergy calls 2-3 times a day (Scam call) reported by


I have been receiving calls from this number 2-3 times every day for the past two months. If I don't pick up no message is left. The first two times I had no response on the line. The last time is was someone claiming to be from "Entergy, you know the electric company" Those were the exact words. Now I've actually worked for Entergy as well as having family members work there for over 30 years. The persons behavior was completely against Entergy's policy and procedures and they do not call people repeatedly, especially non-customers. I had been an Entergy customer for 4 years then another 3 years on a separate occasion and have NEVER received a call from them, even when my account was delinquent. Everyone forgets a bill at least once.
