Called multiple times today. I decided to pick up on the last try. Man on the phone said I owed a debt to a hospital, but wouldn't tell me with who. He wanted detail personal information (SSN#, DL#, etc.). I told him to send me what is owed and by whom by mail, as I don't owe any debts at this time. Be careful what information you give to anyone from this number. It seemed odd, and I didn't have a great feeling about this one.

Their license number is 990750 it's Wakefield debt collector's office out of Denver Colorado. he had no idea what the law was and the phone number in caller ID showed up as account services to get more people to answer the number.

Called multiple times, no voice mail. I decided to answer and he informed me I owed over a thousand dollars to an ambulance company. I 1. Never received a bill for my ambulance ride and 2. It was covered by my insurance. So I shouldn’t owe anything. This really seems like a scam.

Would not inform me of the original creditor to whom I supposedly owed the debt, Flag number 1. Flag number 2 was when he immediately started asking for personal information to "verify" who he was speaking to, still without informing me of who he was, what company he worked for and what the debt I supposedly owed was. All of this information must be provided to you legally from an authentic debt collector. If they are refusing to provide any of there own information and what the debt entails, they are a fake debt collector, who is trying to scam you out of money. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!!
