Claimed to be Bell security (Scam call) reported by


Very RUDE foreign-accented male called 43 (yes, 43!) times just this evening: CID UNAVAILABLE / UNKNOWN NUMBER. The few times we DID answer we nicely asked to NOT be called. He claimed this was about security of McAfee or Norton; we do not have this software! We also said it's the LAW here in USA to not call back when kindly asked: "Nick" (?? Wallace ??) said USA Law is for us, but not for him very rudely and with surly attitude. Cannot believe he called us 43 times in about as many minutes. Left garbled message perhaps 3 times - otherwise hung up on voicemail (of course!). Gee-Whiz - Man!

Wanted remote access to my computer (Scam call) reported by


Claimed to be from Geek Squad Security, which I purchased about 18 months ago and has expired. Told caller I would take my comp into the Geek Squad to get security update, and he got irate; wanted very badly to access my system. I kept asking why he had a problem with me taking the comp into the shop, he kept insisting I allow him remote access. Eventually, he hung up.
