Wanted remote access to my computer (Scam call) reported by


Claimed to be from Geek Squad Security, which I purchased about 18 months ago and has expired. Told caller I would take my comp into the Geek Squad to get security update, and he got irate; wanted very badly to access my system. I kept asking why he had a problem with me taking the comp into the shop, he kept insisting I allow him remote access. Eventually, he hung up.

I read the alert on these guys when they called yesterday. So when they called today I decided to annoy them like they annoy me and everyone else. I toyed with them and frustrated the hell out of them for about 30 minutes just being unable to accomplish the various things they wanted to do. I know they want access to my computer so they can install ransom wear or some other nefarious program so I never really did anything remotely close to letting them in. Finally I told them I was on to them and that I had been playing them just to waste their time and for my amusement and satisfaction, man were they ****. I was loving it.

They insisted micro soft hired them to monitor computer hacking and they were receiving alerts from my ip address that i was being hacked and the were trying to stop it. They asked me to type into my control R and what came up proved i was u der attack , they said i needed to let them in my pc so they can fix it, i STUPIDIY believed it and let them run a scan , i than googled the # and saw SCAM SCAM and shut my pc down and took out battery , they called me asking why i **** down and tonturm back on . I said YOUR A SCAM and im reporting u, they hung up.
