I know in the comments that some people used audible help center through Amazon. I recently have used the audible help center as well and then these calls started. I blocked my number and return the call and it went straight to voicemail which isn't set up. Any reputable company would have their voicemail setup therefore this simply has to be a scam. They called multiple times a day at all hours.

Another day, another robo call @ 6:32 pm on a Monday. If this is from JD Power as mentioned by others on several scam blogs, then the company should have common sense to show their name on CID. They hung up after the 2nd ring which is scammer's MO. Why the farce of Out of Area ????? Stupid company does not realize Out of Area will show them to be robo callers ??????? Guess, stupidity is really the badge of honor these days. And what exactly is JD Power trying to accomplish with these stupid calls ???? Insurance scam, mortgage scam, Google listing, SS scam - you name it and they think/plan it with spoofed numbers, scammers from India, Pakistan, Timbuctoo, Planet Mars, Venus, etc., etc., etc., as if the rest of us are supposed to be ignorant, stupid, doofus like these scammers !!!!!!!!! Number blocked so JD Power OR their so called call centers can rot in hell.

The caller claimed to be from JD Power; he asked for me by name and knew I had recently communicated with GES (Global Experience Specialists). He said he wanted me to answer a few survey questions about that experience – the first question of which was whether I was over 18! (I'm female, in case that's what prompted the question.) I didn't complete the "survey."

Sketchy dude from “JD Power” (Survey) reported by


Some random guy calling from “JD Power” asking how my experience was with calling Audible customer care. Somehow they knew that I was calling Audible and spoke with their customer service center. I asked the guy and said “you mean JD Power & Associates?” He said, “ummm I think it’s just JD Power.” RED FLAG - He doesn’t even know what the full company name is. I called Audible and they said they have no affiliation with JD Power and they don’t leak any information. I asked well where is your call center location, they said they’re in the Caribbean. Unbelievable. Somehow Audible, an Amazon-owned company, leaked my information and now I’m getting calls late at night from this sketchy scammer claiming he’s from JD Power. I am forecasting a class-action lawsuit pending more complaints.
