called multiple times over multiple days. told me I had hackers (Scam call) reported by


I was told they were from Microsoft and they suggested I had hackers trying to get into my account. They implied it was from "all the adult sites" I've visited - I actually don't visit those sites, soooooo, whatever. I was told my firewall was down. She also assured me she was Microsoft (when I asked) and that I could be assured I wouldn't be charged; that's how I would now it was legit. I was given a number and a name to call her after I got home from work, and a code (SJ9654) so I could ask for her specifically. I called but got a busy signal - and it took 25 seconds before the call was picked up to even ring busy.

Repeated calls from this number. I called back. They said they were the Microsoft Help Desk. I said I thought it was a scam and not to call back. They called back a couple of hours later. A recording said I had malware on my computer. I called back and said I was on the Do Not Call list but they kept calling. He said "okay ma'am, I'll delete it." Then he hung up.

Continues to call me and announce that they are from Microsoft and that there has been a security breach on my 15 year computer. Wants me to start computer and insert a "code" to fix it. This is pathetic and desperate. They sound like they are from "India", thick accent. These big time criminals do not even have enough money to hire a high school hacker. Sad, so sad.
